RELIANCE reported a net profit of Rs 6,222 crore, down 2.5 per cent on quarter for the three-month ended June 30, Experts estimate of Rs 6,700 crore.
The oil & gas major had reported a net profit of Rs 6,243 crore in the previous quarter
However, net sales rose by 37.6 per cent to Rs 77,130 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, compared to Rs 56,043 crore a year ago.
