Nifty last close: 19664.70

In a muted session of trade, the Indian benchmark indices ended flat on September 26
Nifty was opened 19700 and seen very range around 19650-19700
Finally Nifty losing 9.80 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 19,664.70
Sensex falling 78.22 points, or 0.12 percent, to end at 65,945.47
Eicher Motors, Nestle India, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and ONGC were among the top gainers on the Nifty
The losers included IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Adani
On the sectoral front, except bank, pharma and IT, all indices ended in the green, with FMCG index up 0.5%
Midcap index ended on a flat note, while the smallcap index added 0.3 percent
FIIs net sold 694 crore while DIIs net bought 715 crore on Sept 26
US markets down sharply on Sept 26
Dow down 1.15%, Nasdaq declines 1.57% and S&P500 fell 1.47%
Dow posts biggest single day fall after 6 months
US VIX up 12% to 18.95
Consumer confidence index comes at at 4-month low at 103
Alphabet, Microsoft and Apple down nearly 2%
Amazon falls 4% after the Federal trade commision files antitrust lawsuit

Brent climbs to $95/bbl
Gold prices slide to $1900/oz
Dollar index hit a 10-month high to 106.20
