Nifty last close: 19993.20
Benchmark indices ended with little change in a highly volatile session on September 12
Despite selling across the sectors, barring Information Technology
Nifty was opened 20110 then slipped to 19915 again spiked to 20000
Nifty was down 3.10 points or 0.02 percent at 19,993.20
Sensex was up 94.05 points or 0.14 percent at 67,221.13
Top gainers on the Nifty included TCS, L&T, Infosys, Divis Labs
While BPCL, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Adani Enterprises were among the top losers
Except Information Technology (up 1 percent), all other sectoral indices ended in the red
Auto, capital goods, power, oil & gas, metal and realty down 1-3 percent each
Midcap and Smallcap indices posted a steepest fall in 2023, falling 3 percent and 4 percent
Retail inflation eases more than expected to 6.83% in August
FIIs net sold 1047 crore while DIIs net bought 259 crore on Sept 12
US markets ended lower on Sept 12
Dow down 0.05%, Nasdaq declined 1% and S&P500 dropped to 0.57%
US VIX up 3% to 14.23

Oracle records worst day in 20-years falls 13% on weak guidence and forecast
Gold prices fall to $1910/oz from $1925/oz
Brent oil prices went to 10-month high
Brent crude ended $92.25/bbl
Dollat index higher 0.15% to 104.73
Asian markets mixed in early trade
HangSeng up 0.5% and Nikkei down 0.2%
