The Indian equity benchmarks snapped their four-day winning run to end lower on March 5
Nifty was seen highly volatile and ended 0.22% lower on March 5
Sensex was down 195.16 points or 0.26 percent at 73,677.13
Nifty was down 49.30 points or 0.22 percent at 22,356.30
Top Nifty gainers were Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, SBI and ONGC
while losers were Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, Infosys and SBI Life
Mixed trend was seen on the sectoral front, with auto index up 1.3 percent, PSU Bank index up 2.5 percent
Oil & gas, power and realty up 0.5 percent each, while IT and FMCG indices shed 1 percent each
midcap index ended flat and the smallcap index shed 0.6 percent
India VIX down 4% to 14.38

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) net bought shares worth Rs 574.28 crore

Likely they will sell 17.64 crore shares in Zomato for Rs 2,800 crore through a block deal
The floor price for the block deal has been fixed at Rs 159.4 per share which represent 4 percent discount to current market price

Dow declined 1%, Nasdaq fell 1.65% and S&P500 dropped 1%
