India’s benchmark Sensex and Nifty closed at fresh record highs on June 25
Nifty was rallied and broken recent highs
Nifty closed 0.78 percent, or 183.45 points, higher at 23,721.30 points
Sensex ended 712 points higher, or 0.92 percent, at 78,053.52 points
HDFCBank and Icicibank contributed almost 100 points to Nifty
HDFC Bank shares turn positive for 2024 after a 12% rally in a month
Among sectoral indices, Nifty Bank and Nifty Private Bank rose by 1.7 percent each
Among banking stocks, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank surged
On the other hand, Nifty Realty declined by 1.8 percent, with Nifty Metal and Nifty Media fell by 0.7 percent
FIIs turned net buyers as they bought equities worth Rs 1,175 crore
DIIs extended selling as they sold equities worth Rs 149 crore on the same day
US markets ended mixed on June 25
Dow lost 0.76%, Nasdaq rallied 1.26% and S&P500 gained 0.4%
Nasdaq erased the previous loss and Dow erased the previous gain
Nvidia ganed 7% and Fedex rises 14%
US 10-year yield nearly 4.25%
Crude sustained $85/bbl
Gold prices fall below $2320/oz
Asian markets were set to mixed in early morning
Nikkei up 1.4% and Hangseng down 0.15%
