Benchmark indices Nifty and Sensex ended the session in green
At record closing highs after paring partial intraday gains on June 13
At close, the Sensex was up 204 points or 0.3percent at 76,810
The Nifty was up 76 points at 23,398
Earlier in the day, the Nifty clocked a fresh high of 23,481 intraday
The Sensex gained 0.8 percent to intraday high of 77,145
As for individual stocks, Shriram Finance was the top gainer on the Nifty
Followed by HDFC Life Insurance, Divi’s Laboratories and M&M
FMCG sector’s largest player, Hindustan Unilever was the top loser on the index, down nearly 2 percent
Axis Bank, Britannia, ICICI Bank, and Eicher Motors followed
Among key indices, FMCG was the worst performer, down 0.7 percent
The next in line was the Nifty Energy index. Nifty Realty, IT
Pharma were on the other side, surging up to 2 percent
The VIX or volatility index also fell over 5 percent to 13.6
Ambuja Cements on June 13 said it will acquire 100 percent stake in Penna Cement Industries Ltd (PCIL) for Rs 10,422 crore
L&T wins large offshore order up to ?5,000 crore from #ONGC for its Daman Project
GST Council will be held on June 22 in New Delhi
The Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 3,033 crore on June 13
while domestic institutional investors also sold equities worth Rs 553 crore on same day
US markets ended mixed on June 13
Dow lost 0.17%, Nasdaq rallied 0.34% and S&P500 gained 0.23%
US VIX ended around 12
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq registered record closing highs for a fourth session in a row on Thursday

Adobe soars more than 16% after the strong earnings report
US 10-year yield sustained around 4.3%
Asian markets were set to mixed opening
